PHS Tree Hub

Need help with your next planting? Register your planting event and request volunteer advertisement through PHS. Your event will be posted on our Tree Program's  Get Involved page  indicating your need for volunteers.

For our tips on hosting a volunteer planting, check out the  Organizing a Community Planting Checklist or Training resources/sessions

Registration, Waivers & Policies

PHS requires your Tree Tenders planting event volunteers to acknowledge the PHS Volunteer Waiver (all documents are listed on the right).   This can be done in advance using our volunteer registration system VolunteerHub (more info below), or on the day of the planting via the PHS sign-in sheet.

We have also provided a Volunteer Sign-In Sheet/Waiver Acknowledgement for you to use as a sign-in and acknowledgment of the PHS waiver and have the Volunteer Waiver above (p. 2-4) on display.

If you are not using VolunteerHub, please use a Planting Volunteer Spreadsheet to compile your volunteer info and send a spreadsheet to [email protected] after your event. At a minimum, we need a name and email, but a mailing address or even just a zip code/city is encouraged.

PHS Youth Volunteer Policies

  • Depending on the location, volunteers ages 8 through 13 are welcome to volunteer with us, but only with an acknowledged or signed waiver from their parent/legal guardian and then are accompanied by their parent/guardian or group leader for the duration of the volunteer shift.

  • Volunteers ages 14 through 17, may volunteer without a parent/guardian/group leader. A parent/guardian will have to acknowledge/sign the PHS Volunteer Waiver on their behalf. This can be done either through VolunteerHub or through the physical form.
