February 10, 2025 – PHILADELPHIA, PA – As anticipation builds for the opening of the 2025 PHS Philadelphia Flower Show, Gardens of Tomorrow, PHS is unveiling a special Flower Show-themed, fashion-meets-floral art installation at King of Prussia Mall from February 11-17, offering a unique preview of this year’s visionary theme. This pop-up art installation blends fashion and floral artistry to bring the Gardens of Tomorrow theme to life, offering a taste of the daring creative vision for the 2025 Flower Show, and celebrating the future of gardening through bold, fashion-inspired design.

The Gardens of Tomorrow theme envisions the future of gardening, showcasing emerging innovations, techniques, and imaginative possibilities. Expanding on this concept, the art installation explores the evolution of horticultural and gardening careers through fashion and floral artistry, reimagining the roles and trades that may shape the world in the years ahead.

The playful, fantastic designs follow five imagined gardening and horticultural jobs of the future: The Herbalist, The Perennialist, The Beekeeper, The Flower Farmer, and The Seed Starter. Utilizing mannequins, minimalist fashion is accentuated by floral elements with vibrant color pallets uniquely personalized to each of the jobs, giving them a distinct identity.

The Herbalist is represented through intricate detailing that suggests a deep connection to plants, while The Beekeeper incorporates flowers and plants that represent biodiversity and celebrate the importance of pollinators. The Flower Farmer’s design evokes the richness of a blooming garden, whereas The Seed Starter is marked by details that suggest the nurturing process of new growth. The Perennialist embodies the resilience of gardening and plants’ impacts on the future. Together, these designs offer a joyful, colorful, vivid interpretation of the future of gardening and explore how these roles may evolve and adapt to new opportunities within the field.

By presenting these forward-thinking visions, the installation offers viewers an exciting glimpse into the 2025 Flower Show and how the Gardens of Tomorrow theme will be brought to life through its floral and garden exhibits, interactive experiences, curated shopping, educational opportunities, and special events—offering endless opportunities to explore, discover, and celebrate gardening.

“The Gardens of Tomorrow theme is about imagination, innovation, and the boundless possibilities of the future—and this installation is our first, bold expression of that vision. By blending fashion with floral artistry, we’re not just showcasing beauty; we’re telling the story of how gardening and horticulture will evolve in ways we’ve yet to dream. We hope this installation sparks curiosity and excitement, giving visitors a taste of the creativity and wonder that awaits at the 2025 Flower Show,” said Seth Pearsoll, VP and Creative Director of the Flower Show, Pennsylvania Horticultural Society.

"We're honored to partner with PHS to preview the 2025 Philadelphia Flower Show. Our goal is to offer more than just a shopping destination—we strive to create an inspiring, dynamic space for our visitors. This installation brings the artistry and innovation of the Flower Show to our community, providing a glimpse into the future of horticulture while enriching the experiences we offer.
