Her love of flowers began through a personal hobby of designing. She found herself keeping fresh flowers in the house weekly. It was very therapeutic and complemented the atmosphere in the home. During the time of grieving the loss of her late mother, flowers became a source of healing and lifted her spirits during a difficult time.
