Apiary Studio

Apiary Studio is a landscape architecture, design/build, and experimental horticulture practice based in Philadelphia PA. We work to achieve thoughtful design solutions that maximize opportunities, mitigate challenges, and concede a habitable future in an increasingly distress and disturbance affected world. By way of citizen research, in-house trialling, and playful curiosity, we have come to specialize in novel building materials and conventions, adaptive reuse of urban decay, and unusual hardy plants to create gardens and outdoor spaces that are dynamic, responsive, and break from the mold.

Design Under Sky

Design Under Sky is a National Award-Winning Landscape Architecture Studio aimed at creating joy, wonder, and curiosity in the living world. Founded by Adam E. Anderson and based in Providence Rhode Island.

Etta Studio

We're Etta, a garden design studio based in the Bay Area and New York. Our approach to garden design comes from a deep care and attention to the natural environment. We use a lot of native and climate-appropriate plants, mix in edibles when it makes sense, and keep materials simple and honest. At the core, our approach is about slowing down. We like to build on what's already there, reuse what we can, and let the garden express itself over time. With any new project, we're not only thinking about what's going to do well in that space and what's going to look good, but also how the client relates to home and how we can help them feel more connected to their environment. Our goal has always been to make outside spaces that are approachable, inviting, and elicit this sort of guttural feeling of sweetness when you're in them. They are also a part of the "American Landscape Showcase".

Kelly D. Norris is one of the leading ecological horticulturists of his generation. In his award-winning interdisciplinary studio, he explores the intersections of people, plants, and place through ecological, site-specific design and art. Kelly and his team bring life to residential, commercial, and public landscapes across North America. An award-winning author and plantsman, Kelly's work in gardens has been featured in The New York Times, Better Homes and Gardens, Martha Stewart Living, Fine Gardening, Garden Design, and numerous television, radio, and digital media appearances. His latest book is Your Natural Garden from Cool Springs Press. They are also a part of the "American Landscape Showcase".

Laurel-Brook Gardens

Laurel-Brook Gardens is a small design-build landscape company that focuses on creating inviting residential outdoor spaces. We do new landscape installations and also maintain private gardens in PA, DE, and NJ. Our reputation is built on our attention to detail and design uniqueness. Whether it's traditional or modern, formal or informal and naturalized, a large estate or a small city courtyard all of our projects receive equal attention and effort to bring forth engaging outdoor spaces that meet our client's wants and needs. During our design process we aspire to produce creative solutions that marry the landscape and architecture, the interior design, and the client's personal style to create a seamless cohesion and flow between interior and exterior spaces. Our collaborative approach keeps the client involved in every step of the design and installation process to ensure that the end result exceeds expectations. Susan Cohan Gardens is an award-winning landscape design studio known for creating timeless, artful outdoor spaces that seamlessly blend beauty, function and ecology. Founded by landscape designer Susan Cohan, CLDP, FALPD, the practice specializes in residential landscapes that reflect a strong sense of place and keen attention to craftsmanship. With a focus on sustainable design, Susan Cohan Gardens transforms properties into extraordinary living landscapes--places to gather, unwind and connect with nature. Their work has been widely recognized for its creativity, restraint, and soulful qualities.

The Men's Garden Club of Philadelphia

The Men's Garden Club of Philadelphia was established in 1990 and has exhibited at the Philadelphia Flower show for 36 years. The club has received numerous awards to including best in show.

Unknown Studio

Unknown Studio is a landscape architecture and urban design practice with a deep belief in the power of the designed landscape to bring joy, wonder, beauty and improved quality of life to all. Through the craft of design and engaged collaboration we create new places and microclimates, tell stories, unearth memories and amplify the culture and ecology of the places in which we live. Unknown Studio works across scales and landscape typologies. Of particular interest, however, is the garden which we see as uniquely suited to bridge climate change mitigation, conservation of biodiversity, stewardship of places, and shared joy. Gardens are a microcosm of the world and have an outsized impact on leaving the world better than we found it. They are also a part of the "American Landscape Showcase."
