PHS Pop Up Garden at South Street

Plan Your Trip to the Garden


Paid parking is located across the street at the corner of 15th and South Streets. You may also utilize street parking -- make sure to feed the meter if needed.

Public Transportation

Visitors can take the SEPTA Broad Street Line and get off the train at the Lombard-South Station (500 S. Broad Street). Once you arrive at the stop, there is a two-minute walk to get to PHS Pop Up Garden at South Street.

Walk-ins are encouraged. If you have a party of 10-20 we have some tables available for reservations for the upcoming two weeks through Resy.

Yes. Pets must be on a leash and be well-behaved when visiting the garden.

Yes, on weekdays and Sundays with a parent or legal guardian. No one under 21 is permitted after 9:00 pm on Friday or Saturday.

Guests over 21 will need a valid photo driver’s license or identification card issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation or by any other U.S. state or Canada, a valid United States Armed Forces identification card, or a valid passport or travel visa issued by the United States or a foreign country that contains the holder’s photograph, are all acceptable forms of identification.

Please note: Mother Nature can be tricky! We may need to close the garden with only short notice due to weather. Always check the social media listed above BEFORE you head out the door to join us! Remember that the plants love the rain!

Yes, you can submit a request to host a group of 20 or more at the link here. Please give a minimum of two weeks’ notice to help finalize all the details for your request.

The gardens are a fundraiser for PHS to help with the greening work we do throughout the year. We offer a selection of food on-site with plenty of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. Please no outside food.

We offer dessert options with our private event packages. For guests without an event, we request you enjoy your sweets before or after you join us in the garden.

Yes, guests can enjoy a contactless ordering experience while dining at the Pop Up Garden. You can order menu items via QR code at your table. The order will then be brought to you by a staff member. Please note we are serving everything in single-use packaging, including condiments and flatware.

PHS partners with a bar that runs the daily operations of the garden. We will help you get in touch with the right person as quickly as possible to look into your query and help resolve it if necessary.
