PHS Friends and Neighbors! We invite you, your family, and your communities to join Harvest 2020, a new PHS initiative using gardening to address growing food insecurity in the Greater Philadelphia region. Food insecurity, already at 11% in our region, has grown even worse during the COVID-19 crisis.
Everyone can make a difference this growing season. Through Harvest 2020, PHS will give you the resources you need to get started and connect you with others to share your crop.
Your participation, as a grower — growing food for yourself; as a sharer — growing food to share in your community; and as a donor — contributing to support people in underserved communities to grow and share food, is vital to the well-being of those living in the Greater Philadelphia area.
