Tom Morris is the Director of Public Gardens and Landscapes at PHS where he leads a talented team of horticulturalists committed to maintaining some of the region’s most recognizable gardens. Tom is looking forward to elevating the wide variety of gardens and landscapes that PHS manages while highlighting the organization’s brand and visibility.
Before coming to PHS, Tom worked for J. Downend Landscaping, Inc., helping to manage the business and grow it into one of the Delaware Valley’s most respected landscape contractors over 25 years. Tom also designed and oversaw the installation of 11 Flower Show gardens while winning many different awards.
Tom is a graduate of Williamson College of the Trades in Media, Pennsylvania. Tom comes to PHS with the backing of 30 years of industry experience and has held a number of different professional certifications including: Pennsylvania Certified Horticulturalist, ICPI Certified, and NCMA Certified.
In his free time, Tom enjoys working in his garden, spending time with his family at the beach, woodworking, and collecting vintage surfboards.
