Ryan Eilerman

Third Century Plan Leader

Ryan Eilerman is the leader of the 3rd Century Project, our strategic planning initiative to embrace PHS’ growth and evolution to set a bold agenda as PHS enters its third century on November 24, 2027. As the 3rd Century Project Leader, he oversees and manages the strategic planning process, supports the leadership team, and maintains alignment between our stakeholders. This project will position PHS to step into our third century with the vision, campaign, and operational excellence necessary to support the future of our transformational impact across the region.

Ryan is an interdisciplinary and proven leader with extensive experience managing projects, personnel, and organizational change. As a former Naval Officer, Ryan spent a career dedicated to building teams, improving performance, and inspiring an optimistic culture towards a shared vision in some of the most intense and challenging environments. Ryan was forward deployed out of Spain and served on a U.S. Destroyer through multiple patrols. Then, he trained and qualified in the management and safe operation of naval nuclear propulsion plants. In his recent studies in International Peace and Conflict Resolution, Ryan researched programmatic peacebuilding interventions for divided societies and displaced populations in Cyprus and the Republic of Georgia. Ryan is passionate about creating local platforms for peace, building resilient communities, and the sustainable development of social value through empathy, equity, and empowerment.

Having grown up on the Chesapeake Bay and graduating from the United States Naval Academy, Ryan loves to sail and be connected to the water. In his free time, Ryan enjoys going on bicycle rides up the river trails, exploring new towns and restaurants, and hosting events for his friends and community.
