Matt Dougherty joined PHS in 2017 as the Facilities & Procurement Manager. As the leader of the Administration Team, he is responsible for all office operations, the PHS vehicle fleet, and procurement of office goods and services. In addition, he acts as a liaison between building management and the organization. During the Philadelphia Flower Show, he manages the Show Office, which is the customer service hub for PHS staff, more than 3,000 volunteers, vendors and guests. During his time at PHS, he has led efforts to increase the organization and efficiency in the PHS office. Matt has also overseen initiatives to increase tighter purchasing and risk controls, creating savings and eliminating unnecessary expenditures.
Matt is a proud graduate of Temple University where he received his B.S. in Business Administration. Previously, he operated his own business for 15 years and managed all aspects of the operation.
Matt enjoys all Philly sports teams, surfing, tennis, and drumming.
