Letisha Golafaei

Community Gardens Manager

Tisha is an artist, organizer and facilitator. They were born in Boston, Massachusetts where she spent the first 19 years of life. Since then, they have been living and growing in Philadelphia. They are a graduate from Temple University, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Adult Organizational Development. Tisha developed her love of worms and soil during childhood and her gardening knowledge from self-learning and community members. They are an avid lifelong learner and creative explorer. As an abstractionist, they have explored resolution and expressions in and through deep layering complexity. They bring the same level of expansiveness to their engagements with community and organizing. The artist, organizer and gardener joined PHS in 2021 hoping to extend her community network while engaging her creative skills.
