Angela Val
Board Member
Angela Val joined the PHS Board in 2019. She is Chief Administrative Officer for the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau, managing the day-to-day operations of the PHLCVB and responsible for the organization’s strategic plan, its comprehensive external affairs plan, and the development of business guidelines in support of the organization’s mission and goals. In 2016, she served as Deputy Executive Director of the Philadelphia Host Committee for the Democratic National Convention. Prior to that, for over fifteen years, Angela served in various positions at Visit Philadelphia where she oversaw numerous special projects and acted as Board liaison, managed external affairs, and worked closely with hoteliers and other industry stakeholders.
