Parking

Paid parking is located all through Manayunk. Here are the closest spots to the garden:

  • On Jamestown Ave if you are really lucky!
  • Along Main Street
  • Along Cresson Street
  • Venice Island parking lots, with entrances via Main and Lock Streets, Main and Cotton Streets, and via Carson Street (across from Post Office)

Frequently Asked Questions

No, we do not. We have plenty of space in the garden for large parties. Groups of up to 20 people are welcome on a first-come, first-served, so please feel free to walk in.

Yes. Pets must be on a leash and be well-behaved when visiting the garden.

Yes, on weekdays and Sundays with a parent or legal guardian. No one under 21 is permitted after 9:00 pm on Friday or Saturday.

Guests over 21 will need a valid photo driver’s license or identification card issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation or by any other U.S. state or Canada, a valid United States Armed Forces identification card, or a valid passport or travel visa issued by the United States or a foreign country that contains the holder’s photograph.

We have multiple covered areas in the garden for passing showers. The garden will close due to lighting and heavy rain. For updates on closures, be sure to follow our social media channels below:

Please note: Mother Nature can be tricky! We may need to close the garden with only short notice due to weather. Always check the social media listed above BEFORE you head out the door to join us! Remember that the plants love the rain!

Yes, you can submit a request to host a group of 20 or more at the link here. Please give a minimum of two weeks’ notice to help finalize all the details for your request.

The gardens are a fundraiser for PHS to help with the greening work we do throughout the year. We offer a selection of food on-site with plenty of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. Please no outside food.

We offer dessert options with our private event packages. For guests without an event, we request you enjoy your sweets before or after you join us in the garden.
