Dixianne McKenzie, a longtime PHS Gardening Contest participant, joins our Grow Together series to show off her garden. Her garden features a variety of plants and trees and is a standout in her South Philly neighborhood. Dixianne loves gardening and uses a lot of pinks and yellows in her design because they remind her of her Mom.
Dixianne originally entered the PHS Gardening Contest to bring recognition to her neighborhood. She was thrilled when her garden was selected as a Blue Ribbon winner.

The 2020 PHS Gardening Contest welcomes non-professional gardeners of all experience levels. Submissions and judging are being handled completely online this year.
