Winter Tree Tenders

Become a neighborhood greening hero!

Learn about tree care and planting by participating in a PHS Tree Tenders training this winter.

This eight-hour virtual course offers topics including tree biology, identification, planting, and proper care. You will be joining one of the nation’s oldest, most respected volunteer urban tree-care programs. This is a 3-part workshop series taking place online through live zoom sessions and recordings.

Tree Tenders are given the tools to plant and nurture trees in their own neighborhoods. Regionally, there are over 6,500 Tree Tenders from over 100 neighborhoods! Join a group or form your own Tree Tenders group, by attending the training with two neighbors.
