While winter may still linger, spring is just around the corner—and this is the perfect moment to begin dreaming, planning, and planting for the growing season ahead. Join us to learn the hows and whys of seed saving, with a focus on medicinal herbs that thrive in our region.
Have extra seeds from past seasons? Bring them along to share and swap with fellow gardeners, herbalists, and plant lovers—no experience required, just curiosity and a love of growing. In keeping with the workshop’s focus on sustainability and access, we’ll create origami seed envelopes from recycled paper. Participants are invited to bring clean junk mail or scrap paper to turn into seed packets, emphasizing reuse, creativity, and care for both people and land.
Participants will go home with seeds saved from the farm's 2025 herb beds, ready to start in containers or in-ground gardens this spring. This free community event is hosted by Herbalist Lynn Roberts of Acuity Wellness and the Montgomery County Chapters of Herbalists Without Borders.
Space is limited, pre-registration is required.

She is also a Nutritionist and Adapted Culinary Coach, helping those with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families with healthy meal planning, grocery shopping, and meal prep.
