New date: This event has been rescheduled to May 17th, 2026!

Join us for a guided herb walk at the PHS Community Farm at Norristown Farm Park.

This free community event is hosted by Herbalist Lynn Roberts of Acuity Wellness and the Montgomery County Chapter of Herbalists Without Borders. Explore the medicinal plants growing in the farm’s herb beds and surrounding landscape–many of which can thrive in home gardens across our region. You’ll learn how to identify local herbs, hear about their traditional and contemporary uses, and discuss simple ways herbs are prepared as teas, infusions, and other home remedies. Don’t miss this chance to learn from your local Herbalist!

Arrive early for the herb walk to browse our medicinal plant sale (10:00 am - 2:00 pm in lot #5), grown locally and organically at the PHS Community Farm! Visit the plant list to see over 20 medicinal plants that will be available in 2” pots. Herbalists will be on hand throughout the sale offering growing advice as well as tips for medicinal uses.

All medicinal plant sale proceeds support the Montgomery County Chapter of Herbalists Without Borders in offering free and low-cost community classes and herbal clinics rooted in care, accessibility, and mutual aid.
