Join Truelove Seeds founder Owen Taylor for a hands-on workshop exploring the art and science of seed saving. Participants will learn which plants are best suited for seed harvesting and discover techniques for collecting, cleaning, packaging, overwintering, and preserving seeds for future growing seasons. Through demonstrations using a variety of plants, Owen will share practical tips and best practices drawn from years of experience stewarding culturally significant and heirloom seeds. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of how seed saving supports biodiversity and food traditions and will take home seeds to begin their own seed-saving journey.
Owen Taylor is a prominent seed keeper, farmer, and the co-founder of Truelove Seeds, a farm-based seed company dedicated to preserving open-pollinated and culturally important heirloom seeds.
