Planting and Caring for Vegetable Crops with David Mattern

Jump-start your organic vegetable garden this spring and inspire your appetite for growing and designing with vegetables, edible plants, and herbs. Chanticleer Horticulturist David Mattern will lead a walk that discusses the myriad of ways vegetables are grown at Chanticleer, such as in combination with ornamental plants, in containers, as well in the vegetable garden. Bring your notebook and your vegetable gardening questions. All levels are welcome to participate; no experience is necessary. David will have starter plants for participants to take home, as well as a plant list.
