Emma is originally from New Jersey but has called Philadelphia home since 2015. She joined PHS in 2023 excited to distribute the best possible resources to community gardeners and growers all over Philly. She holds a bachelor's degree in Sustainable Food Systems and has an extensive background in vegetable production with an emphasis on addressing food insecurity. In her last role as a Farm Manager, Emma helped to develop and manage the production for a free produce distribution program that produced & distributed over 50,000 lbs. of fresh produce to food-insecure people in two years. Outside of work, Emma also likes to extend her love of food & farming through cooking and learning about food anthropology, riding bikes, and hanging out with her dog.
