Ann joined the PHS Board in January of 2020. She graduated from Rosemont College in 1966 with a Bachelor of Arts in English, and from Temple University Ambler in 1998 with an Associate of Science, Magna Cum Laude, in Landscape Design. She ran her own business, Ann Marshall Landscape Designs for 10 years and is now retired.
She has been on the Board of Visitors, Temple University, Ambler; Board of Directors, Bartram’s Garden; Board of Trustees, the Agnes Irwin School, and is currently Secretary of the Board of Rosemont College.
With her husband, Charlie, Ann co-chaired the successful $40M Capital Campaign for Rosemont College which ended in 2017. In 2018-19 Ann and Charlie co-chaired the Preview Party for the Philadelphia Flower Show. Ann chairs the Governance and Nominating Committee and is a member of the PHS Development Committee. She is committed to helping PHS fulfill its vision to create a healthier environment for the Philadelphia area through all facets of horticulture.
In addition to liking garden-based travel with her husband, Ann spends much of her time designing and weeding her gardens at the family farm in Pottstown, PA.
