As springtime approaches, the anticipation for the 2024 PHS Philadelphia Flower Show is blooming once again. Whether you're starting a new annual tradition or joyfully welcoming back the season of renewal, this year's Show is one you don’t want to miss. From mesmerizing floral exhibits to world-class plant competitions, family-friendly activities, and curated shopping, the Pennsylvania Convention Center is set to blossom with an array of captivating attractions from March 2 to March 10, 2024.  

Get a preview of the 2024 Flower Show’s activities and events, including a variety of new experiences and returning favorites for guests of all ages to enjoy. We hope to see you in March, when we will all be United by Flowers

New Additions to the 2024 Flower Show 
 

New Pricing Incentives, Including Twilight Tickets 

Our revamped 2024 pricing structure features a variety of options to offer more flexibility while providing substantial pricing incentives for those who visit the Show during less busy times. Tailored to your convenience, discover weekday, Friday/weekend, and after 4:00 pm pricing tiers (Twilight Tickets).  

Behind the Blooms Tours 

This year, dive deeper into the world of horticulture with the all-new Behind the Blooms Tour. Guided by expert horticulturists, and designed for master gardeners, this specialty tour unveils the secrets of the Flower Show, showcasing diverse and sustainable plant varieties and the latest in garden design concepts. Tour participants will be capped at (15) per tour, to allow for maximum interaction between your tour guide and your fellow gardeners.

Know to Grow Educational Sessions 

Knowledge blossoms at the Flower Show with our new speaker series, Know to Grow educational sessions. Discover gardening techniques and explore horticulture-focused hot topics in this free series of programs, held daily at 12 pm, 2 pm, and 6 pm. On the final Sunday, catch programs at 12 pm, 2 pm, and 4 pm, with additional sessions in the Members’ Lounge at 4 pm daily, excluding the final Sunday. 

Bloom Bar Cart 

Back by popular demand, the Bloom Bar awaits you with pre-made fresh floral crowns crafted by expert designers to wear while you explore the Show, and for weeks to come. This year, a pop-up satellite Bloom Bar Cart will also roam the Show floor, offering on-the-go flower crown purchases – grab, go, and wear! 

PHS Philadelphia Flower Show Coloring Book 

For the first time ever, there will be a PHS Philadelphia Flower Show coloring book, available exclusively for sale in the Kids Cocoon on weekends and at all times in the PHS Shop in the Flower Show exhibit space, while supplies last. This collaboration between PHS and Draw to Action will include 20 pages filled with original designs from 20 Philadelphia-based artists, each one inspired by PHS’s mission. All proceeds go toward supporting PHS's year-round programs dedicated to enhancing health and well-being through gardening.

Old Favorites Returning to the 2024 Flower Show 
 

Preview Party 

Kick off the Flower Show with the exclusive Preview Party on Friday, March 1, a cocktail party and fundraiser supporting PHS’s mission to advance health and well-being through gardening. Enjoy early access to the Show, multiple bars, food stations, and live music in a flower-filled celebration. 

Artisan Row 

Craft your own masterpiece with upscale artisans at Artisan Row. Choose from seven individually-priced craft items, including flower crowns, candles, and succulent terrariums, to create a unique keepsake from the Flower Show. Purchase your craft online ahead of the Show to save time or sign up onsite to participate! 

Butterflies Live! 

Experience native and exotic butterflies with spectacular color like never before at Butterflies Live! Spend time with these beautiful pollinators, surrounded by flowering plants in a serene setting that allows hundreds of butterflies to spread their wings. 

Early Morning Tours and Photography Tours 

Get an insider’s perspective with Early Morning Tours, led by experienced guides, and Early Morning Photography Tours, guided by renowned photographers. For either tour, arrive early at the Convention Center ahead of the general public, where you can capture the beauty of the Flower Show with your smartphone or DSLR camera. Then, stay as long as you like following your tour. 

Family Frolic  

Family Frolic is a day tailored to young families on the Flower Show's first Sunday (March 3) from 10 am – 3 pm. Guests can participate in several free family-centric activities with local Philadelphia partners and institutions featuring hands-on programming, educational moments, and all types of floral fun! 

Fido Friday 

On Friday, March 8, from 5 pm – 8 pm, bring your furry friends on a leash to enjoy the floral wonders of the Show at Fido Friday. Dress up your pets in floral-themed attire and explore the exhibits together. 

Flowers After Hours 

Dance the night away at our acclaimed after-hours party, Flower After Hours, featuring music and entertainment among the Flower Show's floral, garden, and landscape designs. The event is for guests 21 years of age and older and takes place after normal Show hours, from 8:30 pm – 11:30 pm. Access to exhibits on the main Show floor is included. Details about the theme will be announced in early 2024. 

Potting Parties 

Take home your very own creation of lasting floral beauty and learn the tricks of the trade at these energetic container gardening workshops hosted by designer Tu Bloom -- the Official Botanical Artist of the Grammy® Awards. 

Kids Cocoon 

Our youngest Flower Show guests can play, learn, and have fun in our free Kids Cocoon activities area during all the Show dates! Plant a seedling, read a story, and enjoy activities from many local horticulturally-focused partners, with age-appropriate hourly programming for our youngest guests to enjoy with siblings, friends, parents, grandparents, and guardians.  All activities are free with a Flower Show ticket during regular Show hours. 

Makers Market 

Returning to the 2024 Show, the Makers Market showcases 32 curated Philadelphian artists and their handmade wares. 

Marketplace 

With even more vendors and variety this year, there are plenty of opportunities to find the perfect gift, plant, or memento at this year’s Show. Shop the Marketplace for a curated list of more than 150 vendors or visit the PHS Shop for 2024 Flower Show-branded merchandise. 

Every Flower Show ticket purchased, every special event attended, and every PHS membership package contribute to our community-driven work.
