Dan Scott is the Associate Director at PHS Meadowbrook Farm in Jenkintown, PA. He leads a team of devoted public horticulture professionals committed to sharing Meadowbrook Farm’s beauty with all people, firm in their belief that gardening, and horticulture belong to everyone.
Dan received his B. A. in Management from Hiram College in Hiram, Ohio. He has dedicated his career to public horticulture, including serving as the Director of Horticulture for the American Horticultural Society’s River Farm, and as the Historic Landscape Manager at George Washington’s Mount Vernon.
Dan was born and raised in rural Ohio and recently moved to Philadelphia after 14 years in Northern Virginia.
In his free time, Dan enjoys board games, gardening, live music, backpacking, cooking, watching too many movies, listening to too many podcasts, and remembering when he attempted to learn to hang glide.
