The PHS McLean Library
As the nation’s oldest horticultural library, the PHS McLean Library has evolved to become a 21st century treasure house of gardening information.
Serving PHS and the gardening public, the McLean Library's collection of over 15,000 books and DVDs includes rare gardening, botany and urban greening books, seed and nursery catalogs, and the archives of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. Through a recently formed library consortium with Longwood Gardens and the Mt. Cuba Center McLean Library now offers thousands of eBooks for digital borrowing.
