Tree Care and Monitoring
Connect with a local Tree Tenders group (or form a group) to help prune and take care of trees in your neighborhood or community. Tree Tenders groups also need help with monitoring and collecting tree health data as part of our annual summer Tree Checkers program for recently planted trees. No experience necessary. Training will be provided.
ISA Certified Arborists
Arborists are needed to volunteer with Tree Tenders (community stewardship programs) in Delaware, the Philadelphia region, Pittsburgh and small towns around PA. Arborists can help with pruning clubs, tree pit care, tree monitoring - and of course tree planting! Help out your community trees while making connections and building your reputation.

Plant Trees with PHS Tree Tenders
PHS Tree Tenders across Philadelphia and Southeastern PA (Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery Counties) plant 800-1,000 trees every April and November. It’s a lot of trees to get in the ground so we need your help. No experience required. By participating, you are part of a larger effort to restore tree canopy in the region and to support Plant One Million in the second half of the campaign to plant and care for one million trees!
Upcoming Planting Events: April 21-22, 2018
