PHL Image Maker: Landscape Design Competition
Philadelphia International Airport and PHS have collaborated on a design competition to create a new and iconic Airport landscape. With its location on what was historically wetlands, the Airport is committed to being environmentally responsible. This competition provides an opportunity to showcase advances in sustainability and enhance the environment for neighboring communities and for the public at large, all while creating a welcoming look for Philadelphia, America's Garden Capital.
On March 8th at the Philadelphia Flower Show, the four finalists presented their design concepts to the public.
