We're headed to New York for an exciting day at the New York Botanical Garden and the Whitney Museum's new home on Gansevoort Street in Manhattan.
Our Krapf coach will depart from the Horticulture Center in Fairmount Park at 7:15am and from PHS at 20th and Arch Streets at 7:35am. Our first stop will be at the New York Botanical Garden to view the annual orchid show. The NYBG is an iconic living museum and, since it's founding in 1891, has served as an oasis in this busy metropolis.
Next, we'll head to Manhattan for lunch (not included in fee) and then a visit to the Whitney Museum of American Art to tour their current collections, exclusively featuring 20th-century and contemporary art by American artists, most still living.
