PECO Green Roof Tour

Join PHS on an hour-long tour of the green roof at PECO’s downtown Philadelphia headquarters. At 45,000 square feet, the PECO green roof offers stunning views of the city. It includes an observation deck and an “intensive” area featuring large planters filled with native grasses and perennials such as switchgrass, little bluestem grass, Agastache, and Amsonia.

Pre-registration of all participants is required one week in advance of the tour. No walk-ins allowed. Participants must be 18 years of age or older, and the tour is limited to 20 people per session. Please meet in the lobby at the PECO building to participate in a short orientation and then visit the green roof. All guests must arrive promptly at the start of the tour with a photo ID to participate in the tour. Late-comers will not be allowed to join the tour. All guests are advised that back packs, duffle bags, shoulder bags, or luggage are not allowed on the tour. Only handheld bags are allowed. Security will not hold a guest’s personal items at the front desk.
