In this hands-on class, we will create one-of-a-kind monotype prints using plants from Chanticleer. Cynthia Murray, Chanticleer staff member and independent artist, will lead the class step by step through the monoprinting process. Historically referred to as “the painterly print,” monotype is the only printmaking process intended for creating one unique, unrepeatable impression. This style of printing has always been about experimentation. This class is open to all artistic skill levels and is ideal for people who want to experiment with using plants in printmaking.
Early bird registration is available to PHS Members only May 30 – June 14, 2019.
