Do you have a sunny area or a slope? A desire to grow silver-leaved plants like lavender from the Mediterranean and self-sowers like poppies? Join Chanticleer Horticulturist Lisa Roper for a virtual walk that looks at the many layers of the Gravel Garden at Chanticleer. This south-facing, drought-tolerant garden has a mix of perennials, grasses, annuals and succulents. The class will be led using PowerPoint and digital media and will focus on techniques for maintaining the garden including editing plants that seed in, watering recommendations, proper cut back timing, planting techniques, deadheading and dividing perennials.
