Join Temple University alumnus Denise Gilchrist from the Mt. Cuba Center as she highlights some of the best native plants for our region, including unique species and colorful cultivars selected from top performers in Mt. Cuba’s research trial including Coreopsis, Baptisia, Monarda and Phlox. Gilchrist, at Temple University Ambler alumnus will discuss their horticultural performance and will share important information on which varieties make beautiful additions to your garden. Gilchrist was Mt. Cuba Center's Trial Garden Assistant from 2016 to 2018 and is now the Plant Records Assistant. She has a BS in Horticulture from Temple University and a Certificate of Merit in Floral Design from Longwood Gardens.
