go medicinal weeds hero

Join Kenton Cobb for an informative workshop that is part plant walk, part identification, and part hands-on touching and tasting. Participants will learn about the foods and medicines growing alongside the common cultivated plants. We'll discuss medicinal and food uses, energetics of the plants, stories, and lore.

Some intended outcomes of the class are:

  • For people to see plants in the garden outside of weeds or crops;
  • For people to harvest more from their garden,
  • To consider using 'weeds' as integrated parts of the garden cycle (eg. cover crops, spring greens).
  • For people to "see" their garden differently and redefine "weeds."
