backyard botanicals

Join Anna Herman, an urban gardener and educator at the U School, and whip up a few simple, but useful products, all featuring herbs and flowers found in your backyard. In just an hour, we will whip up immune support infusions, cocktail bitters, lip balm, and herb salts. It's so simple, anyone can do it -- even young gardeners! All you need are a few ingredients, a little planning, some basic understanding of the optimum harvest times, and a recipe or two.

Members of community gardens can access this program for free by emailing [email protected].
