Join instructor Eileen Rosen for this eight-week painting course and learn a step-by-step process using Gouache (GWASH), an opaque watercolor that can be blended, corrected and reworked allowing for greater flexibility than transparent watercolor.
You will learn a color mixing system with six colors and create a color journal, how to see simple large shapes, eliminate confusing details, and create a vibrant, charming miniature painting. Gather an inspiring assortment (4-6) of photos from your personal garden, magazines, calendars, or postcards, and bring them along. A list of supplies will be sent prior to the first class.
Please note: Early bird registration is available to PHS Members only, February 27 – March 14, 2019.
