Join PHS along Ireland's Ancient East and the wild garden trail for an informative tour from Belfast to Cork. We'll be visiting private and public gardens to see the vast array of what makes Ireland the Garden Isle. We'll visit historic gardens such as Mt. Usher's Robinsonian wild garden to the more progressive city gardens that are packed with punch, color and unique tropical plantings in tiny spaces. We'll learn about Ireland's ancient forests and visit the famous Dark Hedges of the show Game of Thrones, the astounding row of Beech trees planted by the Stuart family in the early 1800's. We'll explore the coastal routes that stretch from County Antrim down to the most southern tip of County Cork and learn about what makes them unique.
