The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and the Schuylkill Center are partnering to host a free discussion event on The Hidden Life of Trees: What They Feel, How They Communicate — Discoveries From a Secret World, by Peter Wohlleben.
The book examines how a forest is a social network much like a family; the trees are working together and sharing resources to increase resistance and survival. The book is “a powerful reminder to slow down and tune into the language of nature.” This program is supported by a grant from the Franklin Institute’s Climate and Urban System Partnership (CUSP).
Registration for this event is required and free.
If you can’t make it to this event, you can register for one of the other discussion events happening on the PHS Book Club page.
