Belvoir Castle is one of England's greatest treasures, overlooking both Leicestershire and Lincolnshire from a fabulous fairy-tale setting atop a high hill. Since taking charge of the estate, Emma, 11th Duchess of Rutland has shaken off the dust and brought the castle that had slept since the 2nd World War back to life.

Learn from The Duchess how she rediscovered the 1780 plans for the design of Belvoir’s landscape, drawn up by the legendary Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown, then shelved and left forgotten. Her predecessor, Elizabeth, the 5th Duchess (known as the ‘Builder’) had started to implement these plans and now, over 200 years later, Emma is finally bringing them back to life.
