Tim Majoros leads the PHS Public Landscapes team in the management of public gardens and landscapes throughout the City of Philadelphia. Landscapes included in his portfolio include: the Delaware River Waterfront, Eastern State Penitentiary, the Philadelphia Navy Yard, the Azalea Garden at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the garden at the Rodin Museum, and the garden grounds around the Swann Memorial Fountain in Philadelphia. Tim holds a B.S. in Environmental Horticulture from the University of Rhode Island and a M.S. in Science Education from Drexel University. He has more than 15 years of experience in the horticulture industry in a variety of different roles including head gardener, nursery manager, and project manager. Tim is a certified science teacher with seven years of experience working as an educator in public high schools. He also managed the PHS Roots to Reentry workforce development program in conjunction with the Philadelphia Prison System, providing a green industry training program for returning citizens preparing for release. In his free time, Tim enjoys playing music, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with his family.
