David Chrystal

Director of Individual Giving & Membership

Dave Chrystal is the Director of Annual Giving at PHS, where he leads PHS’s annual member and donor programs. In addition to overseeing the cultivation and stewardship of donors and members, Dave is responsible for reaching new audiences and developing new donor-supported initiatives. Dave holds dual bachelor’s degrees from Bucknell University in Economics and Environmental Studies, along with a M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business at NYU. He is a seasoned development professional, having previously spent over a decade managing the membership program of the Rainforest Alliance, an international conservation organization based in New York City. Immediately before joining PHS, Dave oversaw business development for a healthcare philanthropy consulting firm. During his free time, Dave enjoys exploring the region’s parks and green spaces with his wife and two children.
