Under Lisa’s leadership, the marketing team consists of brand communications, creative services, social media, websites, advertising, ticket sales and promotions that attract revenues, attendees and new members to PHS.
Lisa’s background in graphic design led her to PHS where she joined the publications department as editorial assistant of Green Scene magazine in 1981 and subsequently, as editor and designer of the PHS News to members. In 1982, Lisa joined the PHS Public Relations team becoming department head in 1983. Early in 1991, Lisa developed PHS’s sponsorship program attracting nearly $28M in revenue for PHS from a host of corporate partners. Lisa has overseen the growth of the Philadelphia Flower Show into a highly regarded brand and must-see event for millions of people and has been instrumental in establishing PHS as one of the nation’s premiere horticultural organizations.
