No bride-to-be wants to miss Wedding Wednesday, the must-attend bridal event of the season, highlighting the best vendors of the local wedding industry. In it's 4th year, Philadelphia Wedding magazine will make the night bigger, better, and more spectacular. On Wednesday, March 4, from 6 to 8 p.m., Philadelphia Wedding invited brides and their bridal parties to get inspired by local bridal fashion including gowns from The Wedding Suite at Nordstrom and Unveiled Philadelphia, floral decor and event design including Maggpie Vintage Rentals and Fresh Design Florists, photography tips from Philip Gabriel Photography, invitations by Casa Papel, and much more. Brides can also start planning their registries with BED BATH & BEYOND and Macy's, and stock up on essential reading with The Bride's Instruction Manual and Searching for Grace Kelly. Both authors - Carrie Denny, editor of Philadelphia Wedding, and Michael Callahan, contributing editor at Vanity Fair, was on site to sign copies of their books.
Guests were invited to try light bites from prestigious venues and caterers such as The Rittenhouse Hotel, Franklin Institute, Jaime Hollander Catering, Reading Terminal Market and DiBruno Bros., while sipping cocktails from vendors including Chandon, Frances Ford Coppola Wine, and Cupcake Vineyards. Event attendees got the Hollywood treatment with hair and makeup trials, snapped photos in a glitzy photo booth from Shutter Booth, sampled sweets from Velvet Sky Bakery, The Master's Baker, Town Crier Bakery and Bredenbeck's, relaxed for the big day with Eviama - and even got tips for how to work it all off from Plank Studio.
A real, fairytale-like wedding took place on the show floor at 5:30 p.m. with the finale of Philadelphia Wedding’s Greatest Groom Contest. All Wedding Wednesday guests were invited to the ceremony set among the world’s most beautiful floral exhibits. The annual contest is an opportunity to nominate boyfriends, fiancés, relatives and friends for rewards that include a full wedding, dress for the bride, flowers, photography, and hotel suite.
